Me and my girlfriend are planning to go to Disney world on a time off. Anyone have a rough estimate of how much a trip will cost for a 6-7 afternoon stay? I figured to stockpile about $2-3k. stay surrounded by or out of the park? any good hotels to stay at?
Answers:
Just booked a 13 daytime tripthere for 2. staying at the port orleans with join on meal bundle.. it cost 4200.00 flight with shot blue is 400.00 more...that includes all your admisison tickets etc...
These guys (www.insiderwdwdeals.com) have a great guide on how to amass and offer a money support guarantee. I was skeptical but save a ton of money. I'll bet our family of five (without airfare) will spend more or less $2K total so you and your girlfriend should be able to do it for $180 apiece for a 4 morning hopper, $90 each for a week outdo to Universal, and depending on tastes within hotels and food, another $700-1100.
After spending a ton of time on ebay and all the "discounters" sites (who don't retrieve you but a few dollars per ticket), I bought tickets this week and saved a ton of money following the direction of the guide. Turns out you can call a special number at Disney and rescue between $50 and $75 per ticket if you tell them you're beside a group.
Family of five park hoppers for us for 4 days were $1260 from Disney and $915 when you call the special number they gave you. I estimate it was www.insiderwdwdeals.com
Hope that help.
depends on what deal you can receive. Don't know about hotels never be.
2 - 3000 is plenty for 2 relations. If you want to save money stay sour property and try to eat back coming to the park. You can also bring in food to drink while in the park. The down side of staying sour property is driving back to your hotel after a long daytime.
You could stay on property in a effectiveness or moderate resort and take assistance of the Disney transportation to get to and from the parks. This save the drive but the lines for the buses get long for some of the resorts. You can also drive to the park from your resort and won't enjoy to pay to park. By staying contained by the parks you can take ascendancy of longer hours in the park but sometimes those are busier than the regular hours.
The dining plan is nice but pricey. You can drink at food courts inside the parks for a reasonable amount. If you can travel in September Disney have been offering a free dining plan promotion the closing few years. Reservations must be made in the spring. I assume they start taking reservations in April? Not simply do you get to munch through wonderfully but September is not very busy and the parks are so satisfying.
your looking at 1500. stay somewhere out off the park because a hotel is a place merely to shower and sleep. but find a nice one. staying in the park can carry really crazy with adjectives the people
you can definitely do it for lower than $2k. check out the all-star resorts which are their value resorts. go and get the dining plan with your park pass, it is a real utility. and check out http://www.travelcusehotels.com to book your stay. the site is an aggregator which means it take offers from an assortment of online sites and shows you the best deals. honourable luck and have fun!
Disney is a great vacation spot. For approx. 2k you can stay on site at a plus resort (all very nice may i recommend Pop Century) or possibly a moderate resort (all unbelievably nice) depending when you go near park hopper, fun n' more options and the dinning plan. If you stay onsite product sure to get the dining plan. it is worth every penny. you will devour like royalty for the week. I haven't stayed offsite surrounded by about 8years so i don't know the price for that. i hope that help. check out waltdisneyworld.com to quote your tip and also allearsnet.com for more info and tips. Have a great trip!
You should definately stay at a Disney owned hotel. 2-3k is plenty, depending on which hotel you choose. They start at $82/night for plus resorts and go up from in that. The perks to staying on property are you can seize early right of entry, and stay late at reliable parks on certain days. Also, you can use the Disney transportation system (buses, sea taxis, monorail) adjectives for free and you don't have to clear to park, or walk within from the parking lot. Also, if you leave a credit card imprint at your hotel, you can only charge things to your room (with your room key) and have them deliver to your room so you don't have to fetch things all over the parks. Plus, if you want to shift to another disney hotel and use the pool, you can(except for the Yacht and Beach Club Pool). Another thing you should do since you go - buy a Birnbaum's Guide to Disney World (they even hold one for going with no kids). You should receive that before you even book your room or buy tickets. Oh! And if you enjoy no way of geting discount tickets approaching through AAA, get them from a Disney Store instead of at the take, they are cheaper.
Definently stay ON property..it is not worth it to rent a car to travel unless you plan on visit Universal or Sea World.
Disney has the magical express that will cart you from the airport to a Disney hotel and back again.
Disent offer extended park hours on certain days ONLY if you are a Disney guest. *if you progress this route you MUST get a bracelt surrounded by the park from a cast accomplice in directive to stay for extra magic hours.
Free use of adjectives Disney transportation.
When you stay on property you can purchase the Disney Dining Plan, includes
1 counter service meal (fast food) per year
1 table service meal (buffet or sit down) per light of day
1 snack per day
OR
The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan
3 dinnertime credits per person every sunshine that can be used for either a table service suppertime or a counter service meal
2 snack credits for most items lower than four dollars
1 refillable plastic mug that can be used for any non alcoholic drink at your resort
We are on a bounceback which mean we get free dining last year and be offered it again when we rebooked a trip while still on property. We chose to upgrade to the Deluxe plan.
September is a nice time to go..the crowds are for a while lighter then surrounded by the summer months. And if you book in April you may receive the basic dining plan free.
Whatever you prefer make your table service dining reservation as soon as possible. You can start making those reservtions as soon as 180 days before your trip.
Believe me.you will be glad you did! You do not involve to make reservations for counter service meal.
Epcot has oodles wonderful meal locations and I would suggest LeCellier contained by Canada, Coral Reef in the Living Seas and Les Chefs surrounded by France.
Go to www.wdwinfo.com and glance over the DISboards for any more question you may have.
For our nearest and dearest (of three) it cost $3298.00 for 14 nights and 15 days..within a value resort..adjectives meals included.
This did not include airfare.that depends on where on earth you live.
Sign up for Southwest DING fares. Good luck you will own a lovely time!
You ladies are going to have a obedient time. It's not my thing. The $3,000 budget should be fine for a week contained by the park.
Well adjectives depends...on lodging, meals, saloon rental and plane tickets.
When I go to Disney from NY (usually stay for 10 days) My plane tickets cost nearly $180 round trip per person from NY to Tampa.Round trip to Orlando can be a short time more expensive.
Car rental is about $250 for the 10 days including insurance.
Hotel stay...is another $350 at a nice Motel call White Castle.
When it comes to food that is another story..you can budge have breakfast or dinner at the local buffet for little cost. For lunch you can any eat inside the park( you will find some place that are not expensive considering the certainty that is inside the park) Or you can tramp in beside your own food.
So in my armour a total trip for three can go for roughly speaking $1,150 t0 $1,500.
my husband and I are staying for 6 nights 7days at the Pop Century resort for 1300... that includes 5 days next to the fun & more option. airfare be 450 roundtrip w/Southwest
