Although live theater doesn't require drastically formal clothes, it's a nice occasion to take dressed up a little. By that I stingy no jeans, tee-shirts or flip-flops. This is the time to take out that dress or that nice set of two of slacks, with a nice top and nice shoes. You might suggest of a skirt, a nice sweater, and a pair of boots. Sort of what you might wear to picture daylight at your school. There's no necessitate to wear heels unless that's your style.
Although there's no one channel to dress, you'll enjoy the experience more if you dress up a bit, close to most of the adults will be.
I'm writing at 9:30 p.m., so I assume you are already at the Hippodrome. I hope you are have a great time! I will go ahead and answer this, within case someone search travelfreefaq.coms for a similar question within the future.
I own been to the Hippodrome twice just now. I was here to see Wiked and Spamalot. I would say 70% of the populace were dressed up. Of those, the majority be wearing suits and dresses, and a small minority were wearing really fancy clothes (I never saw a man within a tuxedo, though). Another 20% of the people be wearing what I would call "business offhand attire" (my husband wore "business casual" clothes and I thought he looked great). The remaining 10% were dressed unflappably.
In conclusion, I agree with Don W's answer. If a youthful girl happens to approaching wearing skirts or dresses, that would be great for the Hippodrome. But, if she feels more comfortable surrounded by pants, that's not a problem. I believe the "no denim, no athletic shoes" rule of thumb is a good one surrounded by this case.
