Ferry from Boston to Plymouth?
Is there a take from Boston to Plymouth, particularly from Logan Airport?
I'm visit Salem in September and know here is a Boston/Salem Ferry. But I'm also spending a night within Plymouth. I'm sure there isn't a ship from Salem to Plymouth, so I'm sure I'll have to come posterior to Boston.
I've already booked a rental car, but will end it if I can take the transfer.

The steam ship authority runs ferrys to the Cape and the Islands. Unfoturnatly thet don't run one to Plymouth. If you do have a renlat coup¨¦ it is only give or take a few a 45-60 minute drive to Plymouth. That is if it not a Friday afternoon, then you are combat Cape Cod Traffic. You would do best to make the drive tardy morning to early afternoon(11-2ish) or after 7 at dark.
Try the MBTA, I believe there is a commuter guardrail train that goes to Plymouth.
I agree w/the first guy too. BUT I would add one advice. Plymouth isn't a walkable town, especially if you want to see places like the Plimouth Plantation which I would significantly recommend. Plus with them adding together that new cutesy shop center, like mad of business has shifted from the basic street in town further down to the departed (if facing the water lol), and the prime street facing the water have some great shops too. While those would be walkable, it might get tiring. Of course depending which hotel you are staying at, they might hold a shuttle available so you can check on that. (And the 2 main hotels are any downtown or near it).
It's one of my fav cities to be in motion play at for the day, long as Cape traffic isn't a factor lolol. Cape traffic is knob here! If you can stop at the Christmas Tree Shop..there is on the approach to Plymouth (or on the way back) contained by Pembroke immediately sour Rt. 3. Don't let the moniker fool you...it's the best store in the entire world! You can draw from handpainted mugs for $1.99, and they carry most everything for the home and beyond. Be measured to leave some luggage space though...a dear friend who HATES shopping visted me, bought so much she have to buy another suitcase lolol!
