Who owns the Statue of Liberty?
I remember there be an argument years back between New York and New Jersey. And I know they took the Statue rotten the license plate for New York, so I'm a little confused.

The U.S. Parks Service owns the Statue of Liberty. France gave the statue to the People of the United States. The Congress turned it over the Parks Service, which owns and operate Liberty Island.
The Statue is "owned" by the Federal Parks Service.
