Beringer and Sattui ( St Helena) are most visited places.
There are so heaps great Napa wines. My favorite is probably Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon.
Silver Oak 2002 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an opulent wine of great depth and concentration. It displays a dark, garnet color and aromas of black plum, cassis liqueur, rose petals, nutmeg and sandalwood. The palate offer a mouth-coating texture and a wonderful progression of flavors from berry fruit to tobacco to dark chocolate, culminating surrounded by an extraordinarily long finish reminiscent of a dark chocolate truffle jam-packed with berry liqueur. Properly cellared, it should provide drinking pleasure until 2028.

My first experience with wine is next to a Napa wine, the Muscat from V Sattui winery. Sweet, dessert wine... and it's the with the sole purpose one I've really stuck with over three years of wine so far.
I have to stock up on the V Sattui Muscats when we moved from California to Japan early this year!
I'm from Australia and be recently surrounded by Ca and Napa. I'm used to drinking Chardonnay that is not heavily oaked, so I found a great deal of the Napa chardies not to my taste. (I also don't close to many Aussie chardies that are overly oaked- nor do I approaching the unwooded varieties)
However, I did enjoy the LA CREAMA- which is as expected priced and a good little quaffer.
