How come few associates within Los Angeles appropriate the subway?
What is wrong with the choo choo train, isn't it better than sitting surrounded by traffic on a freeway? Is the subway less streamlined as ones in other cities? Is the subway dirty?
Answers:
It doesn't be in motion anywhere.
If you're a tourist headed for Hollywood or Universal Studios, consequently it might be of some limited use. And that's assuming you're staying contained by Downtown L.A.
If you're a local headed from shopping (The Grove, Third Street, Beverly Center, Century City, and so forth) - it's worthless.
If you're hitting the nightclub of West Hollywood - it's worthless.
If you need to stir to the airport - it's inconvenient. Some bureaucratic genius approved to not build the station inside the terminal. 'LAX' station is actually within an abandoned parking lot a mile away from the airport.
If you want to turn to the beach - it's mostly worthless. It solely stops in Redondo Beach (and even later, it's quite a walk).
As for getting to Orange County, forget it.
When I lived there, not a soul did. It didn't really go anywhere, and where on earth I lived (Compton) the subway wasn't even there. You have to go up adjectives the way into downtown LA to even see it.
i lived contained by la my whole go and when they first opened up the subway, everyone is right, it didn't really turn to very tons places. but now they enjoy the blue, gold, green and red lines and they do hit a few more trunk spots then earlier but unless you are staying within a consistent area it doesn't oblige too much. people who commute from the inland empire to downtown for work usually use it more but not tooo masses tourists use it unless they are going to Hollywood or Pasadena now that they enjoy the gold vein. they are still building more lines but its really hard when everyone depends on within cars so much. everything in so. cal is so spaced out that it wont be so confident even if we had a subway system that be very updated.
well we hold more the just subway, (thats the red row which
goes from Union station to North Hollywood
we also get service to Pasadena, Long beach Norwalk
(okay its not subway but its frothy rail
and its severely clean (you are excluded to eat contained by the stations
or any of the buses
thats one way they preserve it clean
also can you guess where on earth the safest place is to be during an earthquake? its in the subway
Maybe the subway is crowded or dirty. Plus if you own a car you might as okay use it.
What choo choo train? Do you niggardly the Metro Line? You must not rode the Metro Line in a while. It is enormously crowded. The Metro Line is never dirty. It is really clean. The workers come on the train at least five times a light of day to remove the trash.
Its not very big... Its not accesible for everyone.
I concur a little next to SF. It does work if youre going to a lot of tourist destinations resembling Hollywood walk of Fame, Universal studious/Citywalk, Chinatown, Colorado blvd surrounded by Pasedena, Downtown etc..People don't use it a lot create of celebrity influences that u inevitability a car to be cool. Its the society within which we live in that u necessitate a car to grasp to places especailly if u have a girl. Society say that if u ride public transport, that youre a "loser" or are "uncool". Its sad but thats the course it is.
Because relatives are addicted to thier car.
i'm from nyc and we take the subway everywhere in recent times about...because it go everywhere...have u see a subway map for the subway in california.it is approaching one straight line.anyway i took it beside my brother just to see what it would be approaching...it was so bizarre and it took forever to grasp from point A to B...
The subways (which is a joke) doesn't turn anywhere! It only covers a immensely small area, and even if you do capture to the area, after what? The subway lines are in the middle of nowhere, unless you're walking to a tiny nouns downtown or have a coup¨¦ waiting.
For a few reason:
1. It covers a very small nouns so it is not really worth the trouble
2. Few people know roughly it
3. The few people who do know going on for it don't want to be on a subway in a city that shakes (earthquakes)
Why would I want to be in a subway contained by earthquake country?
