Need a nice place to stay within California bad the PCH between Los Angeles and Monterey for a darkness.?

Need a nice place to stay to break up the drive for a night.

You can nutty the drive in soon. If you want to break it up then I suggest Paso Robles. Stop by some of the wineries on hwy 46, find some good dining and stroll through the out-of-date town.

Pismo Beach, i have a sneaking suspicion that its around half means of access, its 4 hrs from Los Angeles, or San Luis Obispo just north of Pismo Beach..this is the worlds most lovely drive, so enjoy
Big Sur is really nice! It's closer to Monterey than LA, but it's lovely and right on the way.
