Can someone bring up to date me any info on Hoboken, New Jersey? Particularly "Upper Grand"?
I am possibly planning on moving to NYC and feel that Hoboken, New Jersey may be a better game for my budget. Can someone tell me if this nouns is safe, where on earth to live and where not to live, etc? Im looking into the nouns of "Upper Grand" I believe they are calling it, whats up with this nouns and what does it offer (as far as restaurants, cafe's, etc.) Also, from nearby how long does it tak to get to the rural community and Midtown?

Hoboken, during the times Frank Sinatra grew up there, be a middle/working class "blue collar" city. However, with the somewhat cheaper (though not by much) rental prices, natural access to transportation into NYC (PATH), over the past 15 years or so the nouns has be gentrified with immature urban professionals.
I did take a look at the Upper Grand website (NICE!). I know near is a Shop Rite nearby for shopping. However you are kinda far from "the strip" (Washington Avenue between Observer Hwy & 4th St, though within is another small pocket around 14th Street) and if you head a bit south and west from that location, you'll bump into the Hoboken housing projects.
You'll hold to take a bus down to the PATH station contained by Hoboken since from where you are is the conflicting side of Hoboken. The trip should take in the region of 35-40 minutes.
