What is within to do surrounded by New York City contained by January?
I am planning a trip to New York from January 3rd thru the 7th. Is it too cold (Im from Texas)? Is this a bad time to pop in? I have never be and I am wondering if it's worth my time and money to visit during this time of year. Any suggestions on what at hand is to do and see? How much money should I take?

yes, it will be cold... but it is conspicuously worth the experience. i go to NYC every year around the holidays (December) and here is ALWAYS stuff to do! you can go rime skating, shopping, Bring a lot of money!! lol you can purloin a horse and buggy ride, since i go within December, my family and i lift pictures in front of the HUGE Christmas tree respectively year. some times we go to the saint Patrick's cathedral, (its hugely nice), we go to the NBA store. (amazing store if you are an NBA fan), we also budge to this huge toy store called FAO Schwartz. trust me you will want to nick a look inside! don't forget your good walking shoes and your earmuffs, scarf,gloves, and a head covering. especially your camera! trust me... you will want to go subsidise again another time. maybe to see a Broadway play or something!

Almost The same things any other time of year. January in NYC can be cold, so bring heat up clothes, hat, gloves. What types of article do you like, NYC have so much to do it is impossible to make a full roll. Empire state building, Chrysler building, grand important, statue of liberty, time square, museums galore. Central park, east & west small town, theater of ALL kinds. Theme restaurants, ethnic, or fine dinning. Shopping , sports, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Nets, Knicks, Music stores, bar and local bands. etc.

For example: you gotta shift visit the central park Ice -Rink, take the 1,9 train and gain off at the columbus circle. the Rockfellar center The top of the rock at the 47th street. The madsion square garden at the 34th street. The time square at the 42. And while you are nearby go call in the Broadway shows. THe lion king!! and if you are still not satifised go for the museum of the unconscious history at the 82nd street. And there is still more, the empire state building is great but variety sure you wear lots of clothes because it's gonna be windy for sure. Make sure you receive to the top. And what else?? The radio city Chirstmas Show! at the 34th street! Also... wanna go drop by the downtown?? go to southstreet seaport at the sundays! and come to CHINATOWN and enjoy our chinese dim sum! and go to soho, association square, and memorial world trade center ground.. If you are still not convinced and wants to be more influential,, then move about to the bronx and visit the Bronx zoo, you can lug photos, camal rides and lots more. If you enjoyed moral fibre take a ride to Our important bear mountain at the upstate. Such a great sight~! if you reason that you will spend alot of money on all of this stuff next you are wrong... the central park is a park so it's free. The bronx zoo are free on the wednesdays. the rockafeller center is free you only just need to move about there. the broadway shows are cheap if you are prepared to seat contained by the far away seats. The rime rink for 1 person will cost nearly $10 if you have your skating shoes. And man come down and call in us. Oh yeah make sure you bring your cameras. And if you are here i suggested you buy a metro card, city subway maps(they are Free lately pick up at the train station) and those zaggat survey guides to great places and restuaurants.
