I am surrounded by austin,tx for the weekend. i want to know what is a pious place to be in motion?

Zilker Park! The weather is warm up and there are tons of things to do here. Play sports...walk the trails...play surrounded by the playgrounds or ride the Zilker Flyer! (a small train for kids...although I'll admit to riding it every one and a while). The springs proposition a good swimming place, and so does Deep Eddie (just rotten Lake Austin Blvd). The water will be cold as they are both bursting with raw water...but fun nonetheless.
If the ground dries up (it rain today) try Hamilton pool. GREAT trails...beautiful background. It's a little out of the opening, but totally worth it.
I believe Emo's is still all-ages...so go see some live music!
If you'd close to to see Lake Travis, try Carlos N Charlies restaurant. Good views of the pond. Sometimes there is live music.
If you're competent to put the kiddos to sleep or get a sitter, try walking around 5th street. Lots of music + bar. I love The Speakeasy...adult orient, not much of a "young" crowd (although I'm 23...I don't like crowded bar filled w/drunk kids). They too hold live music on the weekends.
Careful though...don't have too much fun or you'll move here approaching everyone else! lol <3
take them to the strip club. I'm sure the family circle will have fun. at hand is a really good one call sugars and there is another one call perfect 10. they are really virtuous joints. good-looking women. you'll love it.
