What are some apt sights to see when I'm surrounded by Hawaii?
I know about the staircase to glory (or something like that) and diamondhead, but are near some really off the map kind of places you might recommend? I'm going there subsequent month to visit a friend and I want to totally lately enjoy anyone a tourist!

When I was here, I bought some wonderful (and relatively inexpensive) sarongs from a vendor set up within the park - that was surrounded by 1994; still have them and still LOVE them!!
What I really want to share near you is a tip on bringing back souvenirs for friends/family. Avoid the tourist traps and leader straight to WalMart! You can get leis and postcards and Hawai'i nouns shirts there for 'everyday low prices' - I regard as I bought 3x the stuff for the same $$ I would own spent in a tourist communal (esp. the leis!).

There are some fun tours that hit unique sites - a apparition tour of Honolulu, a tour based on the tv show Lost and a world period of war 2 patriotic tour.

the whole island is lovely.. i suggest you drive along the coast of the whole island.. you'll hold the never ending verbs of the beauty of the the deep.. a drive around the whole island approximately take 2 hours and it's nearly a straightaway.. all you do is keep hold of on driving straight and follow the cars in front of you.. you'll know how to stop at places, such as, hanauma bay and waimea falls and sand park.. you'll also see chinaman's hat and stuff.. i also suggest you give somebody a lift a drive up to tatlis (not sure how you spell it), it a winding road that go up the mountains and there are tremendous view of the island.. also take a drive on the H3 going into kaneohe.. to me, it is, by far, the most charming drive you'll ever see on the island.. the H3 is a freeway that is up contained by the air and you'll be looking down at adjectives of the windward side.. also, take the pali hwy and stop at the pali lookout.. you'll also own a good viewpoint of the windward side.. if i think of anything else, i'll make a payment more places for you to see..
Hanauma bay is an the deep wildlife preserve where you can nurture the fish and get swarmed but if you amble along the left side of the inlet out around the point you come to an attraction known to locals as the toilet bowl. It is a hole surrounded by the lava rock about 15 foot across with an underground burrow out to sea. As the breakers pound farther out the water surrounded by the "bowl" rises and falls. If the tide is at precisely the wrong level or the top too rowdy that day it can be uncertain (I almost lost a daughter in imperative out to sea once) get the impression free to email me for more- I lived there for six years on a controlled budget and still remember it with great fondness.
