Possibly relocating to San Diego?
Hello I am thinking about relocating to SD and required to know a decent neighborhood where on earth I can find a roomate for $700 or less thats close to GIA within Carlsbad area. I don't chew over that I can find an apartment for $800 or can I?

There are some nice condo developments in La Costa (which is in fact Carlsbad) that I'm guessing you could find a roommate situation in your price array. You could use this feature of the local tabloid to see if you could rent something on your own...look for north coastal listings.

Vista is relatively cheap - Escondido's pretty cheap (you own to be real selective where on earth at though - there are some bleak parts), San Marcos is alright...
I'd look for a place in Encinitas - It's realtively cheap, pretty nice, and nearly 15 mins from the GIA...

Hard to find but not impossible, you catch what you pay for... which is like mad for very little. You can other post that you're looking for a place on Craigs. South as Solana Beach, as far north as Oceanside, Encinitas and Carlsbad are pretty good.. you'll find something.
Having lived in North County SD for 15 years, I'd recommend trying to find a place IN Carlsbad. Traffic here is grisly and so frustrating. The closer you are to your workplace the happier you'll be.
With that said, Carlsbad tends to be expensive but it's a great town and you might be capable of find a place to share with a roommate that would fit your budget. Just give or take a few any neighborhood here is decent.
If Carlsbad is too expensive, you could try the Western portion of San Marcos, Oceanside near the I-5 (though next to Oceanside you DO have to be cautious about picking a neighborhood), or the Shadowridge nouns of Vista.

Unfortuneately rent is very expense contained by California, but it is not out of the question of two relations paying $650 each and up.
Rent averages $1200 and up for two bedroom. Look up apartments.com for a more complete consideration.
