What Are Some the "Must-See" Things to Do surrounded by Kansas City?
I'm heading there subsequent week for business and when I am done for the day I approaching to sight see. Also, are in attendance any local restaurants that are a "must"? I don't do "Flingers" or "Tchotchkes" folks. ;-)

If you have time, look up "Oklahoma Joes BBQ". It's so well-mannered...
Gates BBQ! Also- city souk downtown- outdoor farmers/flea market- FUN!
Plaza is a good place to start. I close to the Nelson Atkins museum, Crown Center, Union Station, and the zoo (i know i'm a sucker for zoos). If you like a thrill be in motion to Worlds of Fun off of I-435. Oceans of Fun is awesome too. If you wanna pinch a drive, I highly recommend the Great Mall of the Great Plains contained by Olathe KS.
As for the eats... my picks are Cheesecake Factrory (Plaza-they enjoy a lemon drop martini to die for) and the Kona Grill.

The Plaza has adjectives the restaurants and shopping that one could ever want.
I'll stick with the BBQ area and say Smokehouse BBQ. Its a nice ethnic group type BBQ joint and I be very impressed near it (even over the likes of Gates and Arthur Bryant's). Plus, not a soul yells at you if you direct incorrectly. :)
