Going from Chicago to LA for Concert surrounded by Dec?
My buddy and i want to go to california to check it out, as we hold never been here, and also go to KROQ's Almost Accoustic X-Mas Concert. Any proposal on hotels or any advice contained by general. This is my first time planning a trip other consequently Vegas...and they have ALOT more choices next to packages and such.

When visiting Southern California...near are MANY options on where on earth to stay..all range in price and comfort. A nice [[ and affordable ]] place to stay is the Hilton surrounded by Costa Mesa. It's near Newport Beach and nearly 30 minutes or so [[ depending on traffic ]] from Rodeo Drive. The Hotel isn't in too busy of an nouns..and they have spacious and verbs rooms. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the staff is kind as very well. The bread on there menu is great too [[ if you carry hungry ]]. Heres a link for the hotel:

You might want to stay somewhere near more of a night energy...but if you're looking for clean, comfortable, and pretty...this is the place.
If you travel a little farther south you'll hit San Diego. San Diego is full of Night go and Shopping. I would reccomend the Hotel Solomar if you're looking for something with a short time nightlife and don't mind something a little louder. The staff is nice and VERY courteous. Beds are comfortable and rooms are done very capably. There is a bar/ nightclub/ pool on the fourth floor...which is great night vivacity...but can get a short time loud at times. here's the link:

As far as sightseeing...Beaches are fun...Rdeo Drive is great for shopping.and anything else you discover is cool too...it's a fun place to pop in. Northern CA is beatiful too if you want to travel north. I would reccomend going to San Francisco.
California is usually always sunny...[[ and extra heat in the south]] soo packing shouldn't be to concrete. I would bring a sweatshirt because it is chilly at night.
