Can you catch to New York City from Doylestown, PA by train?

Answers:
Take New Jersey Transit train to Trenton. From here you take a SEPTA train into Philly and another SEPTA train wager on out to Doylestown.
You might also want to consider one of the new bus services: Mega Bus or Bolt Bus. Both are VERY inexpensive and run from midtown NYC to 30th St Station surrounded by Philly. From 30th Street station you can get Septa commuter guiderail to Doylestown. That's probably the easiest route of all.

you can filch the septa train from doylestown to 30th street station, then pocket another train septa train to trenton nj, then finally you can procure on nj transit to get to NYC (cheapest train combo) otherwise-- steal septa to 30th street station and hop on AMTRAK to get to NYC within about an hour and 15 min (but it'll cost you approaching $50 one way)
Have you checked Septa? http://www.septa.org/ You should be able to be in motion into Philly and link up beside greyhound.
Yes. Take your septa train from Doylestown to 30thStreet (or suburban station) Purchase your ticket for a trip to nyc...it includes the costs of your njtransit at the machine subsequent to the ticket counters (in 30th street, it's where you buy tickets for Regional Rail)

Get on the R7
"the trains are timed so that the NYT train departs in recent times after the R7 arrives. So assuming that the R7 isn't delayed (which has never be a problem for me) you shouldn't have more than a 5-10 minute hang around for the NJT train to depart. But definitely check the time of the ultimate R7 back to Philly. And yes, it's somewhere ~$40 (I don't remember exactly)."

i reflect on greyhound is a lot cheaper (12$ online?) but it's greyhound. the RR/NJT combo is at least possible affordable but comfy..even if it.'s got seriously of stops.
you can take the septa train from doylestown to 30th street station, and later take P2P Circulator direct to NYC (Penn Station). It's 2 to 2 and hlaf hours trip, depends on the traffic, cost single $15 dollars for one way and $25 for round trip. Sometimes, the company also doing 3-trip at $30. Pretty fitting deal. You can buy p2p tickets online or on the bus. The bus fare is indistinguishable on either opening. Its website: www.p2pcirculator.com. Hope this would help.
