I want to be surrounded by NYC when they night light the big tree contained by Times Square? Do I inevitability tickets or do I military camp out?

If you run to Times Square bring a TV, since the tree is 8 blocks away.
It's first come, first serve. You cant really "camp" out but you can draw from there plentiful hours before and dally. It's not worth it though. You will be very cold, tired and adjectives by midnight. You cant bring any bags so that manner no food.
hi, you do not need any tickets. where on earth do you live? i live in connecticut and i have to leave my house around 11 am and i walk around times square for a while and at 4 pm me and my mom went to the gate, we got a idyllic spot, not too close and not too far, i dont think they allow you to military camp out because theres a lot of traffic and the police hold to close the roads that lead to times square so cars cannot gain through. if you come ahead of time like a year before book a hotel and progress to times square at the right time. make sure you bring heat up clothes because me and my mom ended up going away since she was route too cold.. i was distressed because it was my first year to certainly wait for the bubble to drop and we had to move back to CT.. do u know how i feel?? i was crying watching the bubble drop on TV because that could of been me within!! so yeah you have to arrive precipitate and wait HOURS.
they will not permit you pass the gate after 6pm or 7pm, so you have to clear sure you're not late. (i remember when we gone around 7 the police wouldn't let population pass) oh yeah, by the way, you cant head off too far from the gates because they will not agree to you re-enter. you can step out and go to the stores handy that are open but you cant meander more than a block away. so yeah thats another tip.. be aware that when you enter the gates in that will be pushing and shoving, lol last year i be being pushed so complicated, lol i was close to wtf!!
even though you have to hang about hours, its all worth it, its a great sense when you get to count down the hours, and finally the finishing seconds of 2007.. cant skulk to go this year!! angelic luck and i hope i helped!
I used to work for the Rockefeller Group and watch many a tree lighting. For days gone by few years now they own not only utilized the rime rink but the roof-top gardens of their buildings as well as, the causeway between 5th Avenue and the tree. If you would if truth be told like to judgment something you will have to go and get to Rock Center no later than 11AM.The Christmas Tree Lighting is contained by Rockefeller Center and is
is scheduled for: November 28, 2007 from 7p-9p. You will enjoy to be there by 11AM so that you can gain a spot along the railing that looks down into ice rink or within the causeway. If you do not get one of those spots you will examine the festivities on a monitor. A little bit of suggestion..if you really want a great tip.get their first piece in the morning on the weekend(after they muted the tree) say around 8AM. You'll own the whole place to yourself, nearby will be no lines at the skating rink and when your done you will have no lurk at the restaurant on the rink so you can have breakfast, monitor the skaters and have a dynamite spectacle of the tree AND be out of the area since all the crowds come. WORST time to be in attendance is immediately after a show let's out at Radio City. Good Luck
