in Kuai...the solitary thing is that Frommers warn that the water here is not really easy to swim surrounded by. Is there a place of this characteristic class and service but also where the shore and water are cool? It doesn't even have to be Hawaii...purely NOT Mexico...

Why not Maui, Kaanapali Beach? I stayed at the Westin - it was enormously nice, close to Whaler's Village. The beach is long and comfortable to swim in. Maui is particularly beautiful contained by its own way (though Kauai is exceedingly nice too). There are a lot of resorts to look at surrounded by this area.
The sand that the Hyatt is on is Shipwreck beach. It is more for the surfers at the east pause. Waves were pretty in control when I was here in May. There are other beach near by, Brennecke shore or Pouipu Shores which are calmer and you can swim, nearby are current areas so you will need to study the signs and avoid those areas. Brennecke is good for snorkeling. Unfortunately, on this island here are no good places to see a sunset. If you want a hotel beside a really nice beach, next I like the Mauna Lani on the Big Island. Most of the Big Island does not own nice beaches, but that one is really nice. http://www.maunalani.com/.
