I am planning a trip to NYC< any suggestions on verbs undamaging hotels and a fitting location?

I stayed at the Hudson a few times and its quite honourable.Central location,great for shopping,dining or buisness.friendly staff etc.

The New Yorker is on 8th Avenue just north of 34th Street. It's right essential the Penn Station subway stop and only a block from Herald Square. The rooms are exceedingly nice, although the staff could be better.
I'm staying at the DoubleTree Guest Suites hotel in Times Square subsequent month for a night. It looks to be a suitable one based on ratings. I trust it since it's a Hilton property.
