The closest metro stop to the Holocaust Museum will be the SMITHSONIAN stop on the Orange flash. It is located in the middle of the "precinct," kind of infront of the Freer Art Gallery.
You are going to embezzle the Orange line from the Smithsonian station towards VIENNA and obtain off at METRO CENTER. It will be your 2nd stop, so don't even bother to sit down.
at METRO CENTER you are going to exit you're Orange stripe train and board a RED line train.
