There used to be a "Wet-N-Wild" water park on the east side of the strip.

I believe you are referring to the "Rock-A-Hoola" water park. It most visable features are its decaying river slides and huge fading Coke can. It go out of business years ago and is baking away in the sun immediately unused.
If you are talking something like the one in CA, get me but it is not abandoned basically closed for the season. There is NO water park surrounded by Las Vegas.
