Washington DC- whats it approaching?
am thinking of taking a job within Washington DC, what’s it like? Where are the best areas to live? Guess I am discussion about safekeeping, things to do, amenities such as stores/shops, Is it an expensive place to live in language of housing and in nonspecific? Just a nice place to live I guess.

It really depends on what you can afford and what your interests are. DC, to donate you an idea, is patently cheaper than New York but more expensive than Chicago. If you want to live in the District, surrounded by an area that's sensibly safe and close to the Metro, you'll most probable be paying over $1500/month for a one bedroom lease and if you buy, it'll cost you probably over $350,000 for a decent sized one bedroom. If you step out in Md or Va it get cheaper but most of the suburbs are not terribly metro accessible so you might have need of a car. Food duty in DC is ridiculous - it's 10% so it can journey up the cost of a meal considerably. As far as where on earth I would choose to live in DC (I am a professional womanly in behind time 20's), I'd do Dupont, Logan Circle, Penn Quarter, Adams Morgan (where I live now), Cleveland Park, or Cap Hill. Those areas are generally somewhat metro accessible, they have lots of restaurants and boutique-type shops, and are reasonably safe (though within DC a lot of dodgy areas are interspersed near the safe ones). Penn Quarter is a bit more commercialized than the others, near the big movie theater, the sports arena, and lots of chain stores. Cleveland Park is a short time more residential, skews a little elder but is a really nice neighborhood with a honourable smattering of restaurants.
As far as metropolitan areas go, I regard it's good and have a good bus and banister system, museums, shopping, dining, etc. Traffic is a nightmare and there are deeply of slums. You would be appalled at DC public schools.

DC is comparatively expensive but worth it! I loved living/working there. The entire nouns has so much to do/see surrounded by terms of culture, sports, even outdoor rest if you're willing to travel 1/2 an hour. Check out Columbia for a nice suburban nouns or even Fairfax/McLean/Arlington in Virginia. Just to offer you an idea a typical one bedroom apartment contained by the city is about $1500 a month...in recent times outside the city in Silver Spring you can reward the same for a nice two bedroom near lots of amenities (check out Silver Spring area). Houses are very expensive and usually start around $300,000. Definitely check out the DC metro system for commuting as the Beltway is a (a)#$%! due to congestion. My proposal would be to live near a metro stop you can drive to or amble to if possible. Good luck! DC is great!
Maryland, contained by fact the Chevy Chase nouns is beautiful, man close enough to commute but far plenty away to be free of the hustle and bustle.
Washington DC is stunning in adjectives respects, not only for its incredible comeliness but also its amazing work places.
