Hawaii locals: do remember this shirt?
In the 70's I lived in Kaneohe and have a shirt that I loved. I had a comic picture of a cockaroach wearing flip-flops, a cistern top, shorts, and a lei, while drinking a can of Primo, and smoking a joint. It said "Hawaii State Bird: the Cockaroach"
I've tried to find it again when near on vacation next to no luck. Shop owners looked at me like I be nuts. Has anybody else ever seen this back?

I remember those shirts...they don't make them anymore (just close to Primo) so the only place you'll know how to find on is on Ebay.

My father in canon owns that shirt and he used to sell him at their nearest and dearest store in Maui surrounded by the 70s. He recently score another one from Ebay.
I can absolutely verify that these existed because I also owned one. Somehow it get misplaced and I seriously doubt that there are any more for Dutch auction. The word cockroach would be pronounced just as you wrote it, ka ka roach by locals.
Primo Beer be one of the biggest locally brews and very popular.but have been out of business for lots years.
never been to hawaii.love to stir there and if i do i would want a shirt resembling that .or have someome going within to bring me one back. love cracy shirts
