Fort Lauderdale - Vacation and Home?
I am a Canadian. I currently live in Toronto which is a really secure place to live, but also very cold. I would approaching to buy a vacation home within the Fort Lauderdale area and live forever later on within about 5 years or so. I am a sophisticated and professional woman. But I am down to loam and easy going. I delight in good food and walking on the sand, yet I approaching to have convenient access to work (which I am guessing is contained by mainly the Miami area). Any warning?

Ft Meyers would be much cheaper and better cleaner beaches and friendlier relations...imo
Been all over FLORIDA and thats my give somebody a lift on it!
Sanibel Island is too commercialized
Ft Lauderdale ...same and VERY expensive also
Panama City ..lovely, but college kids swarm there and expensive
Miami...ok but commercialized
I love the key..but.again.expensive
Naples or Ft Meyers would be my choice!
