?? Arrive SLC July 12- Depart PHX July 19 OR MAYBE LAS VEGAS & finish contained by PHX, Help-CONFUSED ??!!/?
My husband, 2 sons(16&12), & myself will rent a 4 wheel drive and travel from SLC to PHX OR should we could do LAS VEGAS to PHX?? We would similar to to stay in cabin as close to the national parks as possible. If it's possible to rent a tent at the campgrounds at the national parks that would be great too.
I am really wondering if we have plenty days & how many days to spend at respectively stop.and general guidance.

Hi! Let me try to answer what you're asking.
If you are speaking of going camping and doing the national parks / quality type vacation I would rule out Las Vegas completely.
There are outlook things to do here (Lake Mead, Mount Charleston, etc) However, Las Vegas is very touristy, flashy, etc. Its a nice place to call round to have fun and in attendance are things to see.but:
My suggestion would be (with this being a home vacation near 16/12 year old boys) - if you're wanting to slog and camp and enjoy a great family time near nature I would road trip from SLC to PHX.
Regarding renting tents and staying surrounded by the cabins, I'm not so sure on adjectives of that information. I believe you should be able to phone around to the places you're looking to stay and ask what they suggest as far as accommodations.
