If you can't find a store close by, I bought something from an eBay seller *in* Ghana who have a very large ranking, and might have something you're penetrating for. I had never bought anything from overseas on eBay, but he have a 100% positive rating and no one else have anything like the piece I considered necessary. I received my order faster than most advice within the US (3 days). So that might be an risk if there's no place in Philly.
That seller's ID is tribalmusic.
And FYI, I'm not that street trader, I've never even sold anything on eBay, just bought some things. My simply connection is that I bought one item that I'm impressively happy next to.
Have you tried West Philly? Baltimore Ave. between 45th and 49th Sts. There is a strong West African community there. If you can't find what you're looking for, I'm sure you can be put within the right direction.
Come to think roughly it, there are other pockets of African neighborhoods adjectives around University City in West Philly.
