I'm going to boston beside my sister subsequent trip up...?
we want to travel cheap, but not crappy. and we definitely want to see it when it's the prettiest. so when should we step and where should we stay, etc?

Boston is best within the warmer months- June- Oct. Try untimely June or early Oct for the prettiest scene.
Boston is at its most exquisite in May/June.
That is when most of the handsome flowering shrubs and trees are blooming. Don't miss Boston's famous Public Gardens surrounded by the center of the city. Magnificent. And that's where the fabulous Swan Boats glide through the swan lagoon.
The two best times visit Boston are behind schedule spring May/June when the flowers bloom, or mid fall when the leaves coincidence (usually mid to late October). If you really want to see the trees, I would recommend staying outside the city as in attendance are a lot more trees if you travel 15 miles surrounded by any direction.
