Where on Oahu will be the best place to run for the 4th of July?
We are looking for a cool "Hawaiian" 4th of July experience. Any great suggestions?

I get together anyplace around Waikiki will be awesome! FYI on Friday nights, near is fireworks at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Go into a residential nouns and hang out beside the locals.
I think the kaneohe cove fest is going on the 4th of july...Check with honoluluadvertiser.com for details on that..I get the info from there. a few eminent people are going to hold their concerts there..not sure who and when.
if you go across to Ford Island (where the Missouri and Arizona are) here is an AWESOME fireworks show at Pearl Harbor. Very moving experience,
Growing up all my enthusiasm on O`ahu, Hawaii.. I can pinpoint just one spot. A coast park called Alamoana shoreline park. You can't miss it if you have a map. It's located right on Alamoana Blvd. Many locals.. resembling me.. & our families love to move about there to picnic, bbq, step to the beach or hang down out with friends out in attendance until the fireworks show starts. Usually that starts somewhere between 6:00pm - 8:00pm. I can't remember the time.. but please google search: Alamoana Beach firework show.
Now across the street is the distinguished Alamoana mall. Many local residents go there to monitor the 4th of July firework show. In their huge parking lot on the 2nd level facing Alamoana seaside side they'll have live entertainment until the huge firework show takes place from Alamoana seaside park.
So you could choose to watch it from Alamoana precinct 2nd level parking lot or across the street at Alamoana shoreline park. I must warn you it get extremely crowded & high contained by traffic. It's worth the watch! Seeing the fireworks explicitly being lit on the seaside is amazing!! Now you make me want to move about home now.. I miss home.
Go to Waikiki. Watch the sunset and fireworks at impossible to tell apart time. Hang out with friends on the sand and then dine within one of many restaurants or be in motion to the clubs.
