Im going to Chicago and inevitability something to do!?
I'm going to Chicago -from maryland- by car and it's more or less a 16 hour drive and i've got zilch to do. Any ideas? (and please dont put sleep because im unusual and cant sleep if im excited, and no im not driving i can't)

7. Write within your diary about what you see along the instrument or the strange people you see at rest stops
8. Write a note to your best friend and mail it when you capture to the hotel

Get a dvd player and a bunch of movies you haven't see, a few books by authors you love (real page turners). 16 hours will go by until that time you know it.
Well, there are singular a few things you can do. But I would suggest buying a couple of books on tape or compact disc to pop in while driving to maintain you occupied. Or you can read an actual book since you're not driving. Or if you own an iPod, you can buy an inexpensive device that you can hook up to your iPod and play your music through the radio instead of trying to find something to hear in the middle of nowhere. some of the FM transmitters can be plugged into the cigarette lighter so that you can charge your iPod at one and the same time. You can get a cheap portable DVD player to view a movie (the prices on those are dropping).Finally, you can always chat to a friend on your cell phone with one of those headset. I'd actually recommend getting one of those phone hoookups that agree to you talk to them hear them through the motor stereo speakers so you can keep both hand on the wheel. Borrow a friend's Gameboy or something (if you don't enjoy your own). that will kill a few hours. Or count red cars from Maryland to Chicago. ...

I took my ipod, magazines, crosswords, downloaded scrabble on my cell phone and played it alot..lol, bring snacks.. pious luck!
