Going to Hershey PA for time off. What's the cheapest/best importance for a hotel walking distance to HersheyPark?

The hotels run shuttles to the park. Traffic is crazy in Hershey during the summer.

There is a Days Inn very close by. It's not walking distance if I remember correctly but it's exceptionally close. Hotel Hershey is right across the street and it's gorgeous, but probably expensive. The Days Inn was nice though. Sorry for no links, but I simply wanted to enjoy an input :)

Hotel Hershey is higher than a hill that overlooks the town. Don't forget to tour the gardens as very well.
All the closest hotel are owned by the park. Check out hotels.com maybe they enjoy some specials.
