Looking for an African American Book Club surrounded by South Houston?
I am looking to join an African American book Club within Southeast Houston (clear lake, pearland, south houston, etc). Does anyone know of one. I own searched the network, sent a few emails, but most of the emails addresses are no longer valid.

Can't find one? Start one, start it off small and allow it to grow by publicity, word of mouth and the handset.
the only one of i know of is the book break hosted by nete from 9.79 the box. its on thursday at the breakfast klub on travis surrounded by midtown. im not sure if its every thursday. check kbxx website or their myspace.
I'm sorry, but I haven't hear of one either. I even did a turn upside down. The poster directly above me is correct, though, in that you should start one of your own.
This isn't to say aloud that they don't exist, but rather that ones that do exist don't pile it on. If you do opt to start your own club, consider creating a web site, putting up ad on the net, and even see if you can ballyhoo at local libraries. (Slapping hand on forehead because an answer be staring me in the facade...) Have you checked your local library?
