If I am travelling to Palm Springs, CA is it better to fly to Burbank, LAX or Long Beach?
I know Ontario and Palm Springs airports are closer, but it is easier to fly to one of the above trio?

Ditto, what Obviousman said...John Wayne is the closest by a biddable bit, then Burbank which have less traffic, consequently LAX.

I live in the So-Cal mountains and we other fly in and out of Palm Springs... so jammy. Parking is close by, good lighting, out of harm`s way and going through airport security is really well organized, it is a breeze.
Long Beach would be closer than your other choices. You could merely jump on the 405 and thieve any freeway north to the 91 east, the 60 east then the 10 east. Voila, you're contained by PS.
If you aren't going to fly into PSP directly, I would fly into Ontario. It has seriously of flights, and is VERY easy to attain in and out. Next choice would be John Wayne (SNA), aka Orange County. Next, Burbank, afterwards LB. LAX would be last, because it's furthest, and have the highest potential for unpromising traffic. LAX is also the hardest one to get contained by and out of, due to security and traffic.

United has continual flights from Palm Springs (PSP)into LAX and only connecting flts from PSP to Burbank. next to United connecting thru Las Vegas. United PSP to LAX has alot of flights during the light of day.
Ontario and John Wayne are much better. I avoid LAX like the plague. One other alternative is Long Beach. Check for Jet Blue flights, from your local airport to Long Beach. Long Beach is small and not very nice, but you can capture in and out of in attendance in a hurry
