Any Festivals between Aug - Sept ?

I have a cousin visit Nola for the 1st and its a shame he wont experience the French Quarter fest which is my fav !

are there any around Aug - Sept ? .. the time he'll be visit ..

If he comes in the emergence of August there is Satchmo which is free and lots of fun. That weekend is also the white linen fest which is profoundly of fun too.

The best one is Satchmo Summerfest, held at the Old U.S. Mint the first week-end of August. White Linen Night, mentioned by Traveler, is not really a party, but a neighborhood block party.
French Quarter Festival is coming up. There is also Jazz Fest at the Fairgrounds.
