Haper's Ferry is about 1-1/2 hours from DC; Approximately 1 hour from McLean, VA. The best process to get in attendance is to take the Greenway (toll) adjectives the way to Leesburg consequently west from there. There is lots to do surrounded by Harper's Ferry if you like history and / or hiking. It's wonderful this time of year. We were simply out there this ancient weekend. Also, there are a couple of vineyard on the way out from DC. One to be precise particularly nice is Breaux Vinyards. The Catholic church within HF has exquisite (real) Tiffany windows. It a nice destination. Also, you don't requirement to park at the National Park Service parking lot. You can drive all through town; however parking on the weekends is tough unless you bring back to town very hasty.
Business surrounded by Harpers Ferry? I did not know there be any business located in that town.

Harpers Ferry is only almost 1 1/2 hour drive from Washington DC. Do not try to make the trip during rush hour doesn`t matter what you do. There is also commuter train service between Harpers Ferry and Washington DC.
Harper's Ferry is a charming town, but more historic than business-oriented. It's a site that is rich surrounded by Civil War history, whitewater rafting, the mouth of the Potomac River and mountain views that are breathtaking. It's nearly 1 1/2 hours from D. C. Remember that most of the traffic is going south toward D. C. during morning rush hour, and you'll be driving north so you can plan your trip accordingly. Plan to stay within one of the many bed & breakfast inns, if you can. Wonderful!
