Where can I park along the Magnificent Mile surrounded by Chicago?
A friend and I are heading to Chicago this week. We are planning on hitting up the Magnificent Mile for some shopping and not much else. Where would be the best place to park? Are there any parking garages anywhere along/near Michigan Ave that would be right to park in? Please oblige me. It's been forever since I hold been within Chicago and I can't remember.

Do not park at the Intercontinental Hotel contained by Chicago. I just spoke to them on the phone their day after day parking rate is $ 48, not $ 8-10.

If you go one block west of the Mag mile, you'll find several parking garages. In dedicated, I know there is one to hand Nordstrom's. If you are looking to save some money, you can stir about five blocks further west and park within the River North neighborhood. Here they have mostly surface lots so they're rather cheaper than the garages. There are also parking meters in this nouns and I've had pretty obedient luck finding open meters on the weekend.
One option is to park *south* of the Magnificent Mile - around the Art Institute are underground parking garages that are one and only about $12 - and transport the bus or walk rear up Michigan. It's a short walk, and okay worth it.
Underneath the Intercontinental Hotel, (about 1/16 a mile away from "The Magnificant Mile") is a parking garage, it's only 8-10$ a daylight, security guard protected and risk-free within walking distance of your shopping haven. And, this is accessible to the public with in no doubt amounts of spaces reserved for the Hotel. I stayed there long ago lacking knowing that I was so close to this infamous shopping area and I be in glory! Crate and Barrel got some money from me that afternoon! Hope this help you out!
