It is a great city and has plentifully of great things to do, but if you get depressed smoothly then the weather will draw from to you.
The weather SUCKS, big time. Super cold, and it rains alot=)
Summer great, winter wet. Great dark life, near lots of places with local band. Big on music out here, festivals adjectives over the state. Lots of collages and young those who like to delegation. Come visit and check it out, bring precipitation gear.

But; here's what nobody else has told you more or less Seattle:
It's very expensive to live here.
The cost of living is probably 3 times what it cost to live within Quincy, IL Figure close to $1000 dollars a month to survive here. That being said, yeah you can find a approach to get by for smaller number. But renting a shot up hell hole in Tacoma or White Center is no road to live. There are lots of McJobs available, just it will be concrete to get by.
Save your money for survival change and good luck.
Chilly, changeable and depressing. Seattle has the ultimate suicide rate in America. Only 2% of the residents even attend a church of any loving.
Please ignore the bleak comments - we're actually not even surrounded by the top FORTY rainiest cities in the states! We do take a lot of changeable days but it's a light misty rainfall. And frankly I find the grey days very inspiring for writing and practicing. If it be sunny all the time we'd right gluey songs like "Walking on Sunshine" lol
Of adjectives the places I've been to Seattle seem to appreciate original music the most. Lots of cool clubs to see band at (or perform at). A lot of big act stop here and play the smaller clubs. I've seen Rancid, Death Cab for Cutie, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Harvey Danger, Ben Lee, MXPX, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes adjectives in small clubs where on earth you're RIGHT there. And the ticket prices are outstandingly affordable as well. Every dark you could see a different band if you needed. Lots of open mic, conserve sessions, etc as well.
Seattle isnt that fruitless. Sure its rains, alot but it in actuality rains smaller number than NYC. There're rainy season is longer, and for a musician you would love the sundry clubs and venues that generosity all type of music. Seattle have a culture all of its own, big city hopes and small town have a feeling.
I agree with the comment above...Seattle is a great place to live near so much stuff to do. Lots of artists live in Seattle and you should know how to find lots of inspiration if you choose to live here.
