Planning a Disney World Trip?

My husband and I are going to WDW in April. We are going next to 4 kids, 10, 10, 7, & 3. Does anyone have any right advice roughly speaking what we MUST do or anything that is really not worth doing? We hold already booked the hotel suite, and it is not inside of Disney. It is however less than a mile away and offer free shuttle service to all disney subject parks. If anyone has any proposal about what have worked for them in yesteryear we would greatly appreciate it. Are the parades different? should we see it adjectives 7 days? Exaclty how outrageous are the food prices? Is April a good time to dance as far as weather and wait times? Will it be reheat enough to turn to the water parks? Thanks surrounded by advance for your answers!

I agree, that it is really nice to be able to stay on Disney property at one of their hotels, mostly because you can find in rash or stay late at different parks. Seven days IS plenty time to do it. I used the Disney meal plan a year ago ( you can solely get it if you stay surrounded by a Disney hotel) and it felt similar to we didn't have to rate for any food cause we have pre-paid, but they've changed some of their rules on the dinner plan, so if you do have your own kitchen, it wouldn't be a large amount. If you happen to drive your own coupé & stay at a Disney hotel (it doesn't sound approaching you will, but...) you don't have to settle to park at the parks & you don't have to dally for a bus. April will be busy, but using the fastpass option for the really popular rides REALLY make the waits much shorter. We are going this summer & staying neighbouring but off property & are planning on bringing within our own snacks & PBJs to help cut food costs. I would guess that most rapid service meals cost between $5-7 per being (maybe more). Florida tends to own afternoon rain/thunderstorms daily, so be prepared near the ponchos. If you do plan on a sit down Disney meal, spawn your reservations NOW!
My favorite parks for kids in lay down (3 & 7 year old)
Magic Kingdom
MGM/Hollywood Studios
Epcot
Animal Kingdom (we're skipping this one next visit)
I would fairly spend my time at one of these parks and just call on a water park effective home for a better $$
My favorite Disney planning site www.allears.net
enjoy you ever been to wdw past? if not you will probably entail all 7 days and believe me it is exhausting so probably 2 out of the 7 days you will a moment ago stay at the hotel!

the ten yr olds will probably want to hit all the moral rides
ex: splash mnt, space mnt, thunder railroad, rockin roller coaster, tower of terror, soarin, audition track, ect. the 7 yr old if high enough will probably want to ride as very well. most of the rides are suitable for your entire family.

honestly you probably salaried just as much $$ for your suite outside of Disney than you could hold paid for a attraction resort suite in disney.. remember if you stay within disney you get special privaleges. extra time within parks, trasnportation EVERYWHERE, and an optional dining plan i.e. SOOO worth it.

the food in disney is enormously expensive, if you stay in disney the food plan is in the region of 200 bucks a person and you can guzzle almost anywhere at any restaurant.. character meal too!

the weather in april is gorgous but it is going to be extremely very croweded... everybody is on spring break and the weather contained by FL in april is delicate.. i'd say carry to the parks early so can try and vanquish the crowds.. i'm not going to lie, the wait will probably be over an hour long.. yes it will be warm ample for the water parks, its of late a matter of will you hold enough time?

if you could, i would look into the suites at disney's importance resort All- Star Music.. it is the only meaning resort that offers suites.. i can guaruntee you that it is cheaper or impossible to tell apart price as your hotel outside of disney.. if it is i would switch immediately and sign up for the dining plan!! it is so capably worth it

i hope i helped you out! and seriously check into staying surrounded by the resort! have fun i know you will!
April is a pretty perfect time to go. Not the lowest season, but for sure not the busiest season, either. Usually it is plenty thaw in April to do everything.

First, I would strongly recommend you buy a guidebook since it's your first time. It pays stale to do a little homework and amount out where you want to spend your time. That anyone said, I would probably suggest 2 days at Magic Kingdom, 1 or 2 at Epcot depending on how you like it, 1 at the Studios, and 1 at Animal Kingdom, and a light of day for a water park.

The parades/shows are different at respectively park. Depends on how much your kids like to monitor parades - I would conspicuously suggest seeing Spectromagic at Magic Kingdom (nighttime parade) and Wishes, the fireworks show. I would also see Illuminations at Epcot (fireworks). At the Studios there is Fantasmic, which is an evening show. Personally, I've see it once and that was ample. But a lot of ethnic group love it. Worth a try. I don't particularly delight in any of the daytime parades, but they appeal more to kids. Pick one and try it. You can be in motion on Disney's website before you move out and check the times for all the parade and the operating hours for each park. This will oblige you plan which park to attend on each sunshine.

Food is expensive. This website is great to help you plan, and they hold all the menus and prices: http://www.allearsnet.com

You can hide away money by eating breakfast previously you get to the parks, drinking a late lunch and afternoon snack, and consumption supper outside the parks. Inside the parks, counter-service restaurants are the cheapest. Sit-down restaurants are more expensive - and if you plan on eating any sit-down meal, you must get reservations. Some restaurants book up EARLY...months surrounded by advance. The a lesser amount of meals you guzzle inside the parks, the better off you'll be. For counter-service meal, you are probably talking $10 a creature at least, for simple food.
Well, I can only distribute you advice on where on earth a good place to stay while vacationing in attendance.and it is a villa...called The "Orlando Dreamer Vacation Home". But it looks to me that you already enjoy that straightened out for yourselves! :-) But, what the heck, I might as well share it beside you anyway.

If you know anyone else needing a pretty place to stay in the Orlando nouns, please let Derek and/or his wife Heidi Jo Levendusky know via these websites. (The first one is probably the prevalent important one) :

Quote from Heidi Jo Levendusky:

"We enjoy turned an investment property into a vacation home. We needed to furnish it, so I put my Trading Spaces helmet on and planned and purchased the décor in three days. We have many individuals help out by giving us different things for the house, and the Lord help me SOOO much to put it all together. Let me know what you come up with of my decorating skills! (lol)"

The owners of this property are a relations of six themselves and understand the wants and wants of family. :-)

Check out the cool photos of the house inside! Isn't it nice?!?!?!?!
The older kids really stipulation to see Epcot! They will love it. I definitley suggest renting a stroller there because they hold alot and are big satisfactory for the older kids as capably as eay to push! Magic Kingdom will be fun for all of you. I would jump there at tiniest for one full day and Epcot another. The parade are best at night because after you have the fireworks after. Plus adjectives the floats are lit up as well. Very magical for the kids and adults! Food can be reasonably expensive, I would see what there is around your hotel. April should be a dutiful time to go as far as weather. I'm sure you could contact the weather source at hand in Orlando and they could impart you previous overviews. I went surrounded by April a long time ago and it was cool, but nice. I feel that was freakish though. Good luck and own the time of your life!! It is so much fun here!
read read read. budge on mousesavers.com and cheack out touringplans.com
You will not see everything within 7 days there's just too plentiful things to do and see.
Magic Kingdom is a MUST SEE. Lots of rides, shows, a wonderful day and evening spectacle. Most of the rides all the children can gain on. Best photo opportunity just inside and to the greatly back of the photo store be you enter Main street. Characters and cut outs await!!
MGM has great shows, see Indiana Jones they ask for audience contribution, get in that early. The Muppet 3D is also something special to see.
Epcot: The evening fireworks show is fabulous! At the world expo nearby are surprises around every turn at each countries pavillion, be sure to stop at marrocco restaurant, food is great and you find a show during your meal.
Animal Kingdom: calendar this park for a HOT day here is alot of shade. Around by the Lion King show there are bingalows next to Character visits.
Water parks: Typhoon lagoon great when going next to small children, Blizzard beach for the more cheeky but still great for families. (Best clan raft ride)
Downtown Disney nice shopping area can attain something for everyone.
Food is not that expensive inside Disney. Ice cream/Water Yes but the little fast food eateries are not impossible. The sit down restaurants can be a bit more but you don't want to eat haeavy afterwards go on rides and walking so shift with the hurried food eateries.
Carry bottled water near you, sun protection, rain poncho's (pick them up outside of disney for similar to 1.99 inside disney can be 5 dollars & up.
Don't rush yourselves have fun see what you can if you prefer to stick to singular a few parks there's always another clan vacation you can plan Disney World is not going anywhere.
As for the weather my loved ones is Florida say the weather shiould be fine for swimming. The lines may be discouraging because of the Spring break around April.
Have Fun and don't stress it if you don't see everything.
