Is chinatown, ny widen on christmas?

chinatown, little italy, all depart. lots of places in nyc outside of chinatown and little italy are stretch out. nyc doesn't close unless it's a 6 foot snow storm.
Chinatown is always approachable, As this is not Chritmas time and no the Chinese new year daytime, all Chinese owned stores will be unseal at Dec 31st and Jan 1st, may be others could not be opened those days
