Will the Chicago Spire trade name Chicago's skyline look more attractive?
It's gonna out-heighten the sears tower by 546 foot.
Answers:
Yes it should look wonderful.. The sears towers its self is awesome..
You connote the "drill bit"? I bet it never goes up. The style money is these days- getting financing for real estate isnt assured anymore.
Heck yeah.
it's a building that rotates it's floors two degrees from the one below, forming a narrowed tower which twists 270° from the base to the roof.
In my opinion, no. The location is right on the lakefront and it go against architect Daniel Burnham's design to leave the lakefront to the culture.. park lands ONLY. Now with the Spire encroach upon this land, it's merely a matter of time earlier greedy Mayor Daley pushes the limits even further and more and more private housing is allowed. When that happen, forget about Taste of Chicago person along the lakefront in Grand Park, etc.
Besides, it's a stupid looking building. It looks approaching a giant nail.
no
no its gonna look horrible, and soon we will hav etwisted buildings all over admit park
By that much? It's going to fashion it gorgeous! Ahhhh, Chicago has THE best skyline ever! Don't you purely love that building that looks like a diamond from overhead? <3 It's going to look amazing. I didn't know it be going to be THAT big!
Chicago's skyline is already attractive. I can't see what a 2000 foot drill-bit is going to make a payment.
