It's a chillin' - cool - vibe - lets - do - mushrooms - and - scrutinize - the - moon - reflecting - on - the - ocean sort of scene - beside a healthy dose of super-tanker margarita's mixed within.
But as someone else said - UC schools don't come clean slackers (well -at least not dumb slackers). If you don't enjoy a high 3.x GPA, and/or a SAT mark in the top 2 or 3 percentile, don't excess your time. Just apply to San Diego State or ASU instead :-)

no its not. there are sometimes party on the weekends but aren't all students throwing party on weekends?? its all one and the same in the US students will own fun no matter what college here in.
