Where can I park (for 3 days) contained by Jersey that's fundamental a subway/train that will clutch me to Times Square?
I'll be driving to New York soon, but I don't want to park in Manhattan. I'd a bit park on the New Jersey side and take the subway/train into town. I'll be contained by town for three days so I'll like some place that's undisruptive, cheap, and easy to catch to Times Square. Any recommendations?
Answers:
Park in Queens. Park on Crescent Street between 42 Road and 43 Ave. If you grasp there precipitate in the morning, contained by the evening, or on the weekend, there will be plenty of parking available. No regulations, you can go your car in attendance as long as you want, and it's 1 block south of the Queensborough Plaza subway station (actually an 'el' over there), that carries the N and the 7, and both lines will whip you to Times Sq/42 St.
To get in attendance take the Queensboro Bridge lower smooth, make the immensely first right you can make stale the bridge, you have one block to obtain across to the right again to make a right turn on 27 St., next go one block and receive a right onto 42 Rd., then one block and a disappeared on Crescent St. Park anywhere on that block, but don't block any driveways or fire hydrants (15 feet minimum from Hydrants contained by NYC.)
You'll want to park near PATH station.
The transfer is 10x the price of the PATH fare.
in that are several parking garages near the Hoboken PATH Rail Station and The New York Waterway Ferry to Manhattan, mostly along Hudson and River Streets. adjectives these park garages are within walking distance both to the PATH Train and take. There are the following:
Central Parking Systems (Hudson and 3rd Streets)
Imperial Parking (River Street between 3rd and 4th Streets)
Kinney Systems (2nd and River Streets)
From the parking garages, walk to the PATH Train, which is a commuter train string that serves new york and foreign jersey. From Hoboken Station you can take the PATH train to 33rd Street Station and in attendance you can connect to the NYC subway. Take the Queens-bound "N" "R" "Q" or "W" trains (Yellow Line) to Times Square.
The trip should take give or take a few 30 minutes each track.
Enjoy your trip.
