1st time Snorkeling, I don`t know at Catalina Island?
Hi, this will be the first time for us to snorkeling, we are thinking maybe we will step to catalina island. My husand and i are swimmers, we are thinking to buy our own wet suit and snorkeling tools instead of rent. but we never did snorkeling previously, must we take snorkeling training contained by order to snorkel?? doest it required special skill to snorkel?? this will be our first time to catalina island as resourcefully, i have no conception where to start to snorkel, is it going to be far from the coast? do i have to rent a boat contained by order to move about to a snorkeling site? and how is the transportation on the island, within walking distant or must rent something? i'll also appreciate any price information on transportation/boat rental on the island.

Rather than buy adjectives that stuff, why not just rent it a couple times to see if you resembling it? I found a company on the island that specializes in snorkeling tours. Having done closely of snorkeling myself, I believe you will REALLY enjoy it. It requires no special skill, except the ability to put your facade in the hose and breathe through a tube. SCUBA requires training, not snorkeling.

bibi--- did you want to go to some special place to snorkel or something.Get your raining suit ( they make TRUE cute ones now) (you will need it--Catalina river will be cold) , mask and fins, travel to the beach, attain in the dampen, spit in your curtain so it doesn't fog up, put it on your face and skip in the river.Don't breath in dampen through your tube, if you do blow it out.It's pretty simple.Every kid with a tub tub does this.
Transportation on the island is by rental golf carts...
Scuba is much more complicated and requires training and citations...ask any one--- everyone in L.A. know about this stuff because of adjectives the beaches..Everyone here have done this since they were close to 5 ..
