Planning a trip to New York, hotel warning?
I'm planning a trip to New York for my wife's birthday in April and our focus will be primarily to see some shows on Broadway. I'd love it if we could be able to pace rather than relying on public transportation and I be wondering if anyone can reccomend any hotels around the theater district? Thanks in mortgage! :)

I'm staying the DoubleTree Guest Suites Times Square contained by a week when I'm in NYC. It's right subsequent door to where Legally Blonde is, so I'm close to at most minuscule one Broadway show.
If you don't want to rate tons of money, I recommend the Elk Hotel, 360 W 42nd St, corner of 9th Ave. around $60 per night.
