I am going there tomorrow and on saturday around 6:30 PM I requirement to get from Midtown Manhattan (Dylan Hotel 52 East 41st Street ) to the Izod center, the cheapest method possible (train, bus, cab, whatever) Please serve me figure this out so I don't own to do it once I get to NYC!

From Pennsylvania Station pinch the red subway line (1,2,3,9) and acquire off on 42nd street. Then pinch the purple subway line (7) till Grand Central Station, only one block from the hotel.

everyone else get it wrong. this is how your get to the Izod Center
Step1: totter from the hotel to Grand Central
Step2: take 42nd street shuttle to Times Square
Step3: from Times Square put your foot to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (in the subway follow the signs that says: "A, C, E, Port Authority Bus Terminal).
Step4: when you exit the subway and you're inside the bus terminal shift to the information booth. ask the person within the booth where to grasp ticket for the NJ Transit bus to the Meadowland (Izod Center). the person will direction to the ticket booth or the vending electrical device and what bus route to take and from what takings the bus will leave from.
Step5: buy your bus ticket. best on the other hand, buy a round trip ticket ($3.25 each way), and lurk for your bus route number and destination to be announced.
Step6: sit back, relax and savour the ride
the trip to the Izod Center from NYC takes in the order of 20 minute. best you leave for the Izod Center precipitate so you can beat the out-bound traffic.
Subway: $4 ($2 respectively way)
NJT Bus: $6.50 ($3.25 each way)
Total: $10.50
