Nightlife contained by La Jolla?

I'm looking for some fun clubs or bars preferably contained by La Jolla. Lounges, dance clubs, dives... I'm pretty unfurl. Does that town have much of a nightlife? We will be staying nearby, but if the bar scene sucks, we might basically head over to the Gaslamp contained by San Diego...

I agree in the region of forget LaJolla and heading down to Gaslamp. There is 4 sq blocks of dining, clubs, music at Gaslamp 7 nights a week and unless something special is going on it's not not easy to get into any of the clubs.

Yes there are adjectives kinds of resturants/nightlife

but dont drink too much rationale you can ruin our spotlite
LJ has more of the elder, wealthy crowd. There are some college students limp out because it is close to UCSD but most restaurants are bars within LJ are out of price range for most students, at tiniest for them to visit on a regular argument. But if you can afford it, I like George's, Karl Strauss, and Hard Rock. There aren't really regular clubs surrounded by LJ, at least not that I know of.

Pacific Beach is truly college hangout beside much younger crowd. If you want to go tablet hopping, there are plenty of them but usually they are really crowded. PB Bar and Grill is probably one of the busiest and the stripe is always definite long. There are some clubs but they are more of bars beside small dance areas. If you are slightly elder, you may find PB a little annoying, unless you want to revisit the Spring break days within college. Also try to avoid the dollar nights because its merely fun if you have only turned 21.

If you want to go dowel hopping, Gaslamp is probably the best place, especially if you like jazz bar. It is more civilized than PB because the crowd is silghtly older, usually late-20s to early-30s. The parking can be tough and the streets aren't as verbs as LJ but the place is worth visiting at tiniest once.
La Jolla only have one dance place and thats Excalibur I believe. There is also Jose's, but that's solitary good for resembling a happy hour. Other afterwards that your better off going downtown.
La Jolla Cove has a couple of okay places. One is the Hard Rock Cafe. Nothing material exiting though. I would do the Gaslamp. It's not too far time wise (about 20 mins) and the clubs are much more fun and bestow much more variety. Be equipped to pay between $10-$20 for parking on a support lot. Good Luck!
Don't bother with La Jolla. Do the Gaslamp or Pacific Beach.
