My Husband and I are considering moving to Watsonville, CA. What are your opinion of the nouns?

Answers:
Depends on the age of your husband and yourself. Watsonville itself is NOT really big plenty to the point where it have an ample job supply - it still heavily depends on the San Francisco Bay Area for mission opportunities. However, it have a rich resource in foods - contained by fact, it is the single largest supplier of strawberries within the US. Plus the city is growing and commerce is getting stronger everyday.

As for recreational things, in its instant vicinity near are the cities of Gilroy (which has great food and a premium outlet shopping center), Santa Cruz (with superb beaches and an amusement park), Monterey and Carmel (with great oceanfront view and great attractions - such as the Monterey Bay aquarium). In all, Watsonville is VERY secure, growing, has honest housing available, and the schools are mostly very well-mannered. LIke I said before, it adjectives depends on what you are looking for.

Also, remember that Watsonville is NOT too far from the big cities of San Jose or even San Francisco, so a night on the town and other cultural events are in recent times an hour or an hour and a half away. Good luck beside your move, and hope this helps.
Have you been near before? We drove through it end week on the way to Santa Cruz. Not sure what within is for employment. Lot's of farming going on.. Not far from the the deep. Check with their chamber of commerce to catch some good information.
It's a nice little town between Santa Cruz and Monterey on the coast. They grow artichokes there as their foremost crop. The weather is moderate. All around pleasant place. Good Luck.
I agree near Jeffrey. But, whether or not you will like it in attendance depends on your interests. If you are retired, like lots of fish farm land and calmness beaches, you'll be fine. If you are still within wage-earners years, you'll have trouble finding work close to there and will be bored.

There are job in Santa Cruz and Monterrey, but most job would be on the other side of the mountains between San Jose and San Francisco (aka the peninsula). Getting from Watsonville to the peninsula will take 90-120 minutes.
It's an ok little town beside the benefits of small town living. Of course, you get the benefits of a big city too because you are relatively close to San Jose.
This can be a outstandingly nice area, considering it's single a stones throw from famed Monterey and Carmel, along with Pebble Beach. Consider have a sweater or jacket handy most of the year.
The coastal area here have early overcast and fog next to afternoons clearing.
The Artichoke capitol of the world is small but quaint and close by also. (Castroville)
Shopping in Capitola and Santa Cruz aren't far away any.
