Hi,
Disney has a couple of Dining Plans, the uncomplicated, deluxe, and the wine and dine option.

Depending on your people (ages etc.) and eating style, the plan may or may not be beneficial.

I for one am a supporter of the basic plan because it allows you to enjoy the majority of your meals remunerated for ahead of time.

For details about the plan, check the links below. You can even access the strict brochures there.

Good luck to you!
What Does the Dining Plan Include?

With the fundamental dining plan, you can choose to eat at more than 100 participating Disney restaurants. For respectively night of your roll stay, the dining plan will allow each human being to get:

-- One table-service buffet. For breakfast this includes juice, entree, and non-alcoholic beverage OR one full buffet. For lunch/dinner this includes entree or full buffet, dessert, non-alcoholic beverage.

NOTE: Gratuity is no longer included unless otherwise indicated. An 18 percent gratuity will be added automatically for party of 6 or more; a gratuity may also be added for items not included in the Dining Plan, such as alcoholic beverages.

-- One immediate service meal. For breakfast this includes liquid, entree and non-alcoholic beverage, OR combo meal plus one single serving non-alcoholic beverage or liquid. For lunch/dinner this includes entree/combo meal, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage.

-- One snack: Eligible snacks will be indicated on the menu next to a Disney Dining Plan symbol. Some examples of snacks: frozen ice cream innovation, popsicle, fruit bar; popcorn measure; single piece of whole fruit; single serving daypack of snacks; 20 oz. bottled drink or water; milieu fountain soft drink; 12 oz. coffee, tea or hot chocolate; single serving pre-packaged milk or juice. Most Quick Service locations, outdoor food cart and merchandise locations selling frozen ice-cream novelties, popcorn or Coca-Cola products will also provide eligible snacks.

(Note that children age 3-9 must choose from a children's menu, if one is available.)

These credits activate as soon as you check surrounded by to your resort and can be used at any time, in any combination, during your stay.

The supporting dining plan allows for some flexibility, in that one table service dinnertime may be exchanged for one character dining experience. You may also exchange TWO table service lunchtime credits for ONE "signature dining experience" at one of WDW's best restaurants, such as California Grill. You could also exchange TWO table service meal credits for unmistaken categories of one Disney dinner show, such as the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, or for In-Room Private Dining (see below).

The Disney Dining Plan can be used for In-Room Private Dining/Pizza Delivery as follows:

In-Room Dining -- TWO table service credits (gratuities included) will be deduct from your Dining Plan for a single serving meal. A lunchtime will include the following items:

--Juice (at breakfast)

This is for single serving portions only, and does not include hospitality platters, amenities, or merchandise.
