Where can a kith and kin of 6 dance surrounded by Michigan for cheap?
I am looking for a cheap but nice weekend getaway for me,my husband and our four kids(all under 6). We live within Southeast Michigan.

Traverse City - its really cheap in attendance and there is lots of stuff to do
muskegon is a nice place--michigan adventures is here (quite a bit smaller than cedar point but the ticket includes the rides plus the water park)...also if you're into camp or have never be, try harbor beach at wagner state park. they enjoy cabins near for kinda cheap...its right on the lake too.

the beach
go to Lumberman's Monument (to educate the kids about Michigan Lumbering)
step over to West Branch and take lead of the outlet shopping
ask in Sherrifs dept within West Branch how to get to the Game Refuge ( between Clear LAke and St Helens) to nurture the deer out of your hands
