Can chicago el train transit cards be used on tread busses?
the cards you purchase to get on the chicago el trains, can they be used on stride busses? or only on cta busses?

Yes, but it depends on the card. You would enjoy to get some considerate of multi-pass.
Depends. Only the multiple go beyond cards you buy at currency exchanges or at CTA offices can be used on a Pace bus. And even later, only the 30 morning pass and the 30 hours of daylight reduced fare pass can be used; the 7 year pass cannot.
